Welcome to Not Me! Monday, where you can get the full and complete rundown of what I DID NOT do last week. If you want to join in on the fun, head over to MckMama’s page and play along!
I, being of sound mind, grace, and elegance certainly did not walk smack into an open cabinet door that just happened to be at the height of my head. I did not open said cabinet door just moments before and I did not immediately forget that it was open.
I do not keep going through the motions of removing all possible baby-reachable items from my bathroom in the morning, only to always forget about the toilet paper. My baby is not fascinated by unraveling toilet paper!
I, being most alert and awake at all times, did not actually keep falling asleep on my living room floor while playing with my kids one weekday afternoon. I do not get tired in the middle of the day!
I do not have a pen drawer full of pens that don’t work. I do not keep going through the pens that don’t work until I find a good one, only to put all pens back in the drawer, thus setting myself up for another pen search next time I need one.
I did not dress my son in pants that were maybe a little teeny bit too small.
I do not look over my shoulder at every noise when I am on the computer and my husband is not home. Nope, not…hey, what was that?!
I did not conveniently forget to mention in the post about my husband’s weekend away that I too would be spending a good chunk of time on Saturday away from my children. Nope, not me. I was home slaving away with full-time child watching and not driving down to Seattle to see a show with a girlfriend.
But if I did actually drive down to Seattle to see a show, I’m sure I did not have any fun at all.
Nope, not me.

Did you like the Lion King? I have heard wonderful things about it.
Hey, once they are dressed, why repeat the struggle and re-dress them?
I NEVER run into things..and I CERTAINLY would never dress my kid in clothes that are too small(as I look over at my son wearing socks that could be a little bigger)!
At least your son fits pants in the waist. Sometimes we don't have any choice but to wear highwaters--for some dumb reason the smaller boys' sizes have drawstrings that DON'T actually work.
Can't wait to hear about the Lion King. Were you feeling the love tonight? :-)
love the pants!!!
How was the show...guess that means you survived the "guys week-end"!
hoping all is well!
Oh, love that pix of the little guy!
The expression is the classic,
"this elastic is just too tight" stare ")
You got to see the Lion King? I am sooooo jealous! Was it as fabulous as they say?
I have those very same pens that don't work. Why don't we throw them away?
Your baby and his little pants...still adorable!
Great ones! Love that little man. Those are some hot capri's he has on.... I think it's the new style.
Ohhh...The Lion King. I hope "did not" you enjoyed it! lol
Happy Not Me Monday! I do that with pens too! I wonder why that is :) Your son is adorable.
I think I feel guilty about throwing out the pens. I always want to give them another chance.
thanks for visiting my Not me! Monday and leaving a comment! and btw, I have a pic of my baby SURROUNDED by an entire roll of unrolled t.p.! and he also gets the short end of the stick and in clothing:) to the point that it's ridiculous how short his pants are! and the pen thing made me laugh:)
Those were great! I can totally relate...
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Great Not Me's! My daughter actually stopped up our toilets several times because she was infatuated with toilet paper!
Sorry, I laughed at you smacking your face! I have NOT done that a time or two myself! ;-)
LOL! You are great!
What is the deal with the pen thing? I do it too. Maybe it's a woman thing 'cause DH tosses them right away.
About the TP, why bother putting it up? It used to stress me. Then I calculated the cost per roll (not very much) and compared it to the peace and quiet while DD played with it (a long time for a toddler). The peace and quiet won hands down! DD would be occupied for quite a while. When she was done, I'd walk through the house rolling up what I could salvage and tossing the rest. I loved it! Cheap entertainment for her. A nice quiet bath time for me!
Thanks for visiting!
I too have a toilet paper solution (us mom's always feel the need to share ... sorry). We buy the industrial size package at Costco where the rolls are all individually wrapped. We now have a bunch in the bathroom and we use them as "building blocks" and it keeps Jakey occupied while I ... do my "duty."
I can relate to many of those. My Eli isn't into toliet paper yet (only 4 months) but I am sure it's just around the corner :o)
Your son is adorable! Thanks for your comment on my blogs. I'm just a little addicted blogging and reading other people's blogs. But only a little. I can stop whenever I want. =)
