The Mighty M Family

Here are some EXREMELY belated pictures from Eli's 5th Birthday. We had his party at Chuck-E-Cheese! I took this first picture the morning of his birthday (April 11th).  The party was a few days later. Probably laughing at daddy dancing for the cameras. Eli's Cousin Jacob came up for the party!  Eli was a little hesitant. He definitely prefers to NOT be the center of attention!  Hannah had to go into the ticket blaster on Eli's behalf (he didn't want the attention).  She did great!! 

We tried to get a picture (below) similar to the one we took in 2011 (above).  The angle is a little different but you get the idea! We just got back from our spring break in California.  Beautiful weather and barely a mist of rain.  The same can rarely be said for Washington, especially in April!

Oh yes.  Hawaii.  About TWO months ago we went to Hawaii.  I took a ton of pictures.  Here are a few.  Give or take a few more.  Eli pretty much posed like this every time we asked him to smile so we decided to get in on the action.  Thumbs up means “good choices!”.  Macy!  Took my mom “Tutu” with us.  Everyone should take a grandparent on vacation with them!  :-)    That is Mickey and Macy up there parasailing. At the top of Diamond head at sunrise.  Macy love the show Hawaii 5-0 so we HAD to get a picture of her in front of their “headquarters”.  :-) We took a red-eye home and landed around 8:30 am on Easter Sunday.  Fortunately the Easter Bunny didn’t forget to visit us.

it must be warm enough to play in the water, right? I didn’t think so (brrrrrrr).  The kids didn’t care. They were having fun! We are back to rain and clouds today though. 

Well hi there.  It’s been a while. How are you? We are doing well.  Very excited that today is the FIRST day of spring. But we will be more excited when there is some sunshine and warm air to go along with it! However, since we are going to Hawaii soon (in 11 days, not that anyone in this house is counting) I imagine sunny skies (and a mai tai or three) is in our near future. And now, a kid fix for you: Yes, Eli is wearing a swimsuit here. He is very much in Hawaii mode. And I took that particular picture MARCH 1st.
