Welcome back for another exciting round of Aloha Friday. I ask the question and all you have to do is reply via my comments. If you want to ask a question of your own visit An Island Life!
My question this week:
What do you collect?
I am not much of a collector. I never want to claim that I am collecting something for fear it is going to spark a deluge of gifts of just that type of item for the rest of time. But I will admit that I do like Willow Tree Figurines, and one might say I have a small collection of them.
Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!

Oh and what you need to decide to collect is something really expensive...like tell everyone you collect diamonds...that waya deluge of gifts is a good thing.

cool mini kitchen items, raggedy ann and andy dolls, and hubby has cartoon glasses and shot glasses
Ditto on the collection fear. The only thing I can think of is things with a playtpus on them, but I don't go out of my way to find them!
Boyds Bears and antique items.
i am not a collector. as a kid i collected keychains and stuffed animals (yeah, so not cool) anyways, it become too big. so as an adult, i have tired to not pick it back up.
oh, by the way, my letter was to kellan lutz, he played emmett in twilight. he looks very different with his natural blonde hair
I collect coins. In Canada, we have alot of limited edition quarters that I try to keep whenever I come across them.
I hear you, I hate the unwanted clutter and the fealing that you have to display your unwanted (un needed) dust collector thats why I to only collect willow trees, you know that ;-)
never thought I would be considered anonymous but couldn't figure it all out, have not had coffee yet.. Have a good weekend.
Denna
I collect old compacts that are decorated with jewels. I just love how pretty they are and always wonder about their history.
Not much of a collector of "things" but I have hobbies that turn into collections like stamps for scrapbooking/card making or frames for my picture collection.
I don't think I've ever collected anything. hmm, now you have me thinking, is that normal? :)
I try not to collect anything because I own too much stuff. But if I see a Lucy & Me figure I don't own, I buy it!
Eeyores seem to have come my way.
I don't think of it as a collection though.
Books. Lots of em!
I hate figurines and stuff like that. To me they're just extra things that need to be dusted. And I hate dusting.
Hmmm, I used to collect shoes, but that's all changed, lol. Now..I don't know, kids books maybe? And with a great dane, I have quite a collection of dog hair!
I have a collection of snow globes, that are currently collecting dust - lol. But haven't bought any in forever.
I collect movie theatre stubs. I just always kept the stubs from most of the movies that I have seen. The one draw back is that they are not in a streamlined collection. I find them in my jewelry boxes, bathroom drawers, desk drawers, my purse - everywhere. I do like remembering the time I had with the person(s) that I went to the movie with, it always makes me smile.
Nothing - well maybe photos but I try not to keep anything.
I like collecting the silver proof state quarters and Indian Head Pennies. I wouldn't mind getting those as gifts. :)
I love butterflies! And we also have several willowtree items. I love them!
I'm not collecting anything at the moments, but if you looked in our garage, you might think we collect SHOES! Yikes! I think they are multiplying!
I collect snowmen, and little teddy bears
I collect unicorns in any shape/form including figurines, books, jewelry etc. I have 2 unicorn tattoos, and over 225 items in all. Yes, I am crazy.
I don't think I've seen your collection before.
I collect Snow Village houses. I think I put them on my blog last year.
i do love those willow tree figures...
i'm not a collector. I love that Kimberly collects movie theater stubs. And would love to see flying giggles compasses wow.
collect well shoes, handbags, tops you get the idea
I hate collections! LOL!
actually I have a shoe box in my closet with pins and patches I have collected from a bunch of places I have been.
I have a curio full of stuff I want to filter out and lovely hubby disagrees. he is much more sentimental than myself. Oh, I have 100000000s of photos! LOL
I've tried collecting things in the past, but I guess I'm just not the collecting type. Nothing has ever stuck so far.
I collected bells all through childhood. Guess I don't really collect anything now.
I like Barbies. I have Gone With The Wind, I Dream Of Jeannie, and Marilyn Monroe dolls. Those are the only kinds I like. They look pretty displayed!
Hey there! I'm blog hopping and found you via Cate's Show my Face blog. I think. Lots of windows open here...
I love the theme of your blog - very imaginative! You have a gorgeous family and the pictures are great :)
Oh, collections. I collect hard cover books - have hundreds of them, and many favorite authors.
I love willow tree - I have one wall plaque of a representational family that I adore.
Anyway! Drop by if you have time, the door is always open. I'd love it if you participated in my Wednesday blogging event: Silly Haiku Wednesdays. It's a lot of fun seeing what people come up with.
Have a super day!
Do shoes count? Outside of books, shoes, and handbags...we are trying to NOT collect anything. :)
I collect vintage hats (that I wear to church on occasion), post-it's (which I have in all colors, shapes & sizes) and books.
I like Willow Tree as well.
I don't think I am much of a collector either. I used to collect spoons, but now they just collect dust on the spoon rack!
I collect autographed hardcover books. Maybe someday I'll read all of them, too.
Matt and I also have a tendency to collet tickets stubs, but that could just be that we never get around to recycling them.
I have a collection of spoons from different states. My husband adds to my collection when he goes on business trips. Now, if he would be so kind as to buy a case to display them...
Moose, moose and more moose.
I used to collect dalmations but then all I was ever getting was the Spotty Dotty items, which I wasn't especially fond of so I stopped. Although, I still have everything packed away in boxes.
