San Diego

Here are some pictures from Mickey and Hannah’s trip to San Diego to surprise Macy.  They were taken with a point and shoot, some are blurry but please overlook that.  :)

Day one:

Apparently someone forgot to tell Hannah they were out of the car. Or she is prepping for a roller coaster.

Picture of the hotel….of course they brought the Washington clouds with them (and left plenty for us back home too!).

“Is it time to see Macy yet?  How much longer?  Okay, tell me when we are going to see Macy, what time?  When will we see her?  Where?  When is she coming home with us?  Okay, just tell me again so I can remember.”. 

Day two:

Surprise, Macy!

She had no idea they were coming….

Congrats – you are officially a “high-schooler”…and you ROCK for yet another year of consistent 4.0 grades!

Later, at Sea World…..

Hannah was a little unhappy about getting soaked on this ride, but you can’t really tell by the picture!

Day three:

Only one picture, but they visited Balboa Park and Seaport Village before flying home.  This is how my daughter looked when I went out to greet them:

I carried her upstairs and got her ready and into bed as fast as I could (she was NOT happy about being woken up)….poor thing didn’t remember coming home at all this morning!  And she is still tired today, she won’t tell me that of course but we are having quite a few tantrums today. 

But still a good day.
