I could

I could tell you that my sister, brother in law, and nephew are visiting for a week and so far it’s off to a fun start.

I could tell you my sister and brother in law left for a couple days (of said visit) while my nephew stays behind with us to play.

I could tell you we had a great weekend with lots of fun, friends, and food.

I could tell you that Saturday morning I had to go to the ER for a couple stitches after an unfortunate incident with my hand-held smoothie blender (and my finger).  Note to self: UNPLUG before attempting to remove stuck food from blade. 

I could tell you that I went for a 6 mile walk on Sunday.

I could tell you that this week is filled with plenty of fun plans and activities. 

I could tell you that we have to bid adieu to Macy in a couple days.  Sad smile 

I could tell you that it’s hard to type with a bandage covering my left index finger. 

I could go on and on.

But it is Monday.

So instead I will just give you an Eli moment.

Oh geez!! How's the finger holding up? My friend just dealt with the same sort of fiasco (only margaritas were involved in her case) and I am happy to tell you that her digits healed surprisingly fast! So I'll be crossing my fingers for a speedy recovery!

And yes, as per usual, Eli is cute as a button!

Here's to a better week...it can only go up after a list like that, yes? Happy Monday, Teri!

Oh man, I actually shuddered when I read that part about unplugging the blender. Yikes!!!

Dear you, Hi there! We haven't met so I thought I would introduce myself.  I am a mom of two, a fifth and a third grader, at the school our kids attend.  You might recognize my car, as you drive by it nearly every day when you pass me (and plenty other parents) 10 minutes before school gets out to park at the very front of the pick up line. In a spot that is not a spot. Genius!  I mean why should you get to school early like many of us other parents do and park appropriately in the pick up lane when you can just come nearly at the last minute, go around a line of 30 vehicles, and park in a spot that is not a spot? Why didn't I think of that?
