Most of our days on vacation had a similar pattern:
7:30: Breakfast
8:30 – 11: Beach Time
12:30 – 4: Lunch and sightseeing
4:00 to 6: Pool
6:30: Dinner and evening activities
It was a pretty nice life.
Day two was a relaxed day and we only left the hotel to head back to the airport to pick up Macy.
Watching the sun rise from our lanai:
First trip to the beach:
And in case you’re wondering, here is a good way to rein in your kids so you can sit back and relax at the beach:
Eli was pretty impressed:
Pool time. Welcome Macy!
Pool time also means “time for an adult beverage”!
And to all you husbands out there who insist that “you’ve got it” when applying sunscreen to your back:
Might want to ask for help next time!
Another great day in paradise!

I love to see the smiles of happiness and relaxation. Great pics again!
YAY! Glad Macy joined you!
Ha ha about Mickey's back! That's hilarious.
I love those sand pictures *and* the final picture of Macy and Mickey!
You didn't identify "Mr. Sunburned back!" Loving the daily dose of Hawaii photos--in this case, they are worth the wait! :-)
I had to laugh at the picture of your husband's back! So perfect!
That view from your lanai....omg, it's exquisite!
Your hubby's back...dang, that's funny!
Oh the sunscreen! Lol!
That's a sweet schedule!
TOO FUNNY about the sunscreen!!!!
I have a pretty similar sunburn picture on my myspace page. Mine is of a handprint. Sometimes when you are sunscreening 47 kids you kind of neglect yourself. Oh the burning pain. Laurie
That sunscreen shot is classic!
What a fantastic beach!
The sunrise is gorgeous! And I'm totally laughing my butt off at your husband's sunscreen-application-gone-wrong! *snicker snicker*
Double OUCH! I had the spray on....the front of my body, arms and legs...totally cool....the back...well that's another story. Always a good idea to ask for help! Looks like you all had fun!
