The Mighty M Family

Remember this picture from yesterday? this was what he was looking at: Nice horsey. We are fortunate to live on a trail system that leads us to all kinds of exciting and fun places.  Such as the Big Rock Garden Sculpture park, which we visited on a recent sunny day.  Here are a few pictures of some of the exhibits: Hannah thinks this one looks like a witch: This kids clearly thought this one had some good “drumming” qualities: And this one confused us in it’s simplicity.  It’s called “sap”.  There are many more exhibits in the park, but Hannah was the “leader” and for some reason we kept going by the same ones over and over and over again.  By the way there are NO alligators in the pond.  Just in case you were, you know, worried.

I am a little late in my entry, but I am going to post it anyways.  This week was all about adjusting shutter speed to capture movement.  I think I had the shutter speed up pretty high when I took this, likely 1/500.  ISO was 400.  I think my picture is pretty similar to Manic Mother’s entry! :) Happy Monday!!

1) I like this picture. 2) If my daughter wears her red sparkle shoes and just so happens to have two pairs, well, You can imagine someone else wants to sparkle, too.  He wore them to the store! 3)  Have a great weekend!

It is “spring” here.  My flowers are coming up.  I took this particular picture last year…and since I saw these blooming again in my yard this morning I had to go back and see when I took this picture.  March 6th, 2009.  We are a month ahead of schedule.
