how was your weekend?
Over Labor Day weekend we drove to the east side of the state of Washington.
We were at a hotel for the first night. And we were reminded that staying in a hotel room with a baby is never an easy task come bedtime.
So, since we didn’t care to hide in the tiny bathroom until he fell asleep we waited it out.
It was a late night.
The next day we had lofty plans of driving around to visit some of the hundreds of wineries in the area.
We made it to three.
We spent the rest of the weekend at my Grandmother’s home in Kennewick.
Hannah loved riding to the pool in the golf cart.
Eli enjoyed watching the action on the golf course.
Hannah is ready for fall. Thanks to Tutu for her new jammies.
Speaking of Tutu, my mom (Tutu) decided to surprise us by driving to Kennewick.
She is a 3-hour drive from my grandmother’s home and thus the last person I expected to see there that weekend.
But, knowing my mom as I do, I should have known better.
I wish I had taken a few more pictures, especially some with grandma in them. But we had a great visit and a wonderful time!!
