a witchy saturday..

So excited for a night (tonight!) in Seattle with my husband and some good friends.

We are going to dinner.

We are going to a show.

musical-wicked-london

We are spending the night at a hotel.

We are NOT bringing the kids.

I will share my love of musical theater some other time, but since I have had children I hardly ever go anymore. This will be the first time I’ve seen Wicked and I am going to be pretty much a giddy smiling mess when the curtain rises.

I’ll try not to sing too loud.

I have yet to see any Broadway Musical. Though my best friend has seen Wicked numerous times..you think she would have dragged me along! Its her favorite musical! Maybe its because we live in different towns, but still!

Oh, i hope you had a wonderful time. I have heard such great things about wicked. I had an opportunity to go when it was in LA and I am sorry now that I passed it up!

I’m more than just a stay at home mom.  I read. (see, the stack has grown since last time I showed this picture) I watch television. I exercise. I floss every day.  I go out with girlfriends. Dear you, Hi there! We haven't met so I thought I would introduce myself.  I am a mom of two, a fifth and a third grader, at the school our kids attend.  You might recognize my car, as you drive by it nearly every day when you pass me (and plenty other parents) 10 minutes before school gets out to park at the very front of the pick up line. In a spot that is not a spot. Genius!  I mean why should you get to school early like many of us other parents do and park appropriately in the pick up lane when you can just come nearly at the last minute, go around a line of 30 vehicles, and park in a spot that is not a spot? Why didn't I think of that?
