my daughter is not always happy…

Take for instance this picture, which I took during a tantrum about something or another.

Of course, I told her (fresh out of the bath) that she should probably put some clothes on before I took any more pictures of her being “sad”.

This got her to stop crying and put her bathrobe on.  But, being the Hannah she is, insisted on “reenacting” the unhappiness for a picture, fully covered.

I think you can tell she was “pretending” to be upset.  But as always she gets a gold star for creativity.

Also – this isn’t the best quality picture, but a week or so back my son woke up from a nap with the worst bed-head and I tried to capture it on camera:

The back was sticking up just as much as the top.

Love the bedhead AND the crying face!! We're blogging Mommies...we MUST record it all, lol!

I now threaten videotaping Bella when she acts up. She's so horrified of me posting anything of her where she's behaving badly, lol!!!!!

HIs hair looks like mine in the morning. I should totally take a photo of it. I love how your daughter re-inacted being sad. She's going to be famous with those acting skills.

Great job on the re-enactment. And I see absolutely nothing wrong with that hair-do.

The fake crying gets me everytime...and M has the worst thin hair that creates horrible bedhead. I think I'm going to have to shave her head.

Oh my goodness! all of these are so cute! Love the hair! Jacob wakes up with his hair looking like this often actually. His hair is really long and curly so it looks hilarious in the morning. LOL

How priceless!

BTW-We call that "Rock Star Hair" in our house...especially when they refuse to allow me to comb it down!

Her reenactment looks more confused than sad.

So cute!

How do you forget the tantrums? They are fun sometimes too. The total cuteness of the whole thing.

As a former theatre kid and children's theatre director, here's my (unsolicited!) advice. Put her in a theatre class NOW! She'll be a STAR! :)

hahaha! That is the best bedhead I have ever seen! And your daughter should get an Oscar for her performance!

Your daughter is a future Academy Award nominee. A little more practice and she'll be able to do a heartbreaking re-enactment!

And your son could very possibly have started the newest hair style trend....Yes, I think so!

Please forgive me for laughing. I think that's the best bedhead I've EVER seen. There's actually a picture book called "Bedhead"...but I think he outdoes the illustrations.

Your daughter looks familiar. I tell mine she has "crocodile tears"
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could get what we want the same way?

If I looked that adorable with my bed head I would go out in public with it. SO freaking cute!: )

thanks for your comment on my last post, life is so crazy sometimes. And I'm also sorry about your friend who passed. I try to look at times like this as a reminder to love those in our lives even more, if possible.

And again, maybe our daughters will be winning Oscars together later down the road. Caught my little one 'crying' but in the mirror. Mmmmm, she's practicing for suckers.
