He will come around, eventually. This coming from another mother of a similar eater! :)

Kendall eats the same way!!! Now Connor on the other hand eats like a HORSE nowadays!!!!! He will get there!

That is so like a toddler, isn't it? I guess we just know that they know what their body needs! Ellyn Satter (who has a good blog) always says that!

Save this shot so when he is 16 and eating you out of house and home, you can remember the good ole days!!! :)

Sounds just like my son.

We have those same plates. They get covered by a lot more food though. Lukas eats like a goat.

I always put too much food on my little guy's plate too. I am always hopeful he will eat more.

Oh man! That's hilarious! We need to switch kids for a while, my almost 3 year old is out of control with the amount of food he eats in a day! He's destined to become a football player, I swear...

I hope ya'll have a good Thanksgiving!

Little Man is the same way. Little Bit out eats us all!

This post got me thinking. I ALWAYS make too much breakfast for my younger one. I need to start giving her smaller portions. They really do just eat what they need don't they.

My goodness, you want to switch sons, lol?

Wait till he hits his teen years.

Ha! Think of the money you would save if you just fed him what he would eat. What a funny post! BTW, I hope you had a happy birthday this past weekend. :)

Haha.

Natalie can be the same way.

I hope he ate more for Thanksgiving!

I wish some scientist could figure out how that little amount of food could fuel such energy!! Our energy crisis would be OVER!!! LOL!

Melissa B. said...

I desperately need to think about portion size. But your little guy must eat a dozen times a day, oui?

The Blonde Duck said...

Have a magical Monday!

One of my sons eats like that, as well. I wonder how on earth he has the energy he is when he only eats like 20 calories a day!!

We have those same plates...Target, right? LOL!!

Dee said...

LOL! I am with you! I could pay about $5 per month and feed Evan!

JennyMac said...

LOL...that plate looks huge and I know it isn't because we have only very similar. MiniMac will eat giant amounts of about 10 things. It is always a gamble with the little ones and the food. lol.

Our son used to eat very little.
Now that he is almost grown he eats a big snack when he comes home from school, then an hour later he eats supper.

Amy said...

hope all is well..

Mine hardly eat a thing either...but they do love milk. Did you have a good Thanksgiving?

'bout how much my kids eat these days combined -- what's with that? I had to chuckle.
