the walk to school

There is a rock sculpture on the trail we take when we walk to school.

You can tell somebody is putting a lot of time and effort into making it look pretty.

Stacking rocks.

Adding flowers now and then.

Sometimes someone knocks a rock stack or two over.

But it is always “fixed” within a day or two.

It's fun discovering little things like that! I like walking to school (weather permitting) because it lets Jacob get the ants our of his pants before a busy day!

That looks like something my boy would do!

How sweet!!! Kinda makes you wanna hide behind a tree one day and see who's making it, doesn't it?

Only in Bellingham! I remember seeing stuff like that at Whatcome Falls. It was always a nice surprise.

Makes me wonder what it means to that special builder :)

That is so sweet! I love it! It needs peanut butter though. You should add it?

Beautiful. I love that someone would take the time to maintain it. Maybe you should leave a little note between the rocks, with a link to your post. :)

I wish that we could walk to school. This year we have 4 kids in 3 different schools all over town. Think of all the smiles the person that created this is bringing to the world. :)
