Hannah’s first day of kindergarten!

Hannah was ready to rock and roll this morning – did all her morning tasks and was pretty much ready to go about an hour before we needed to leave (how long is that going to last?).  Smile

Not so sure he will be tomorrow (on HIS first day of preschool).

She was a little nervous when it was time for us to leave….but I am hoping she quickly realized how much fun she is going to have!

It is hard to believe she is in Kindergarten.  It seems like yesterday that she looked like this:

And NO I didn’t cry……but I can’t get this song out of my head!

It seems so long ago that we were in your house in Sudden Valley parading them around in OUR choice of Halloween costumes. :) Where in the heck does the time go, seriously? She looks like such a big girl in those photos. Eli too, for that matter!

Ahhhh! Such a sweet post! I can't believe you didn't cry though. My firstborn? Bawled like a BABY!!!! Hannah looks so grownup with her hair like that. GO HANNAH!!!!

And Eli will be off too? Wow - time flies.

Yeah!!!

Oh goodness that song always reminds me of funerals. 3 of my classmates died with in a short period of time in high school and they played that song at all of them.

I’m more than just a stay at home mom.  I read. (see, the stack has grown since last time I showed this picture) I watch television. I exercise. I floss every day.  I go out with girlfriends. Dear you, Hi there! We haven't met so I thought I would introduce myself.  I am a mom of two, a fifth and a third grader, at the school our kids attend.  You might recognize my car, as you drive by it nearly every day when you pass me (and plenty other parents) 10 minutes before school gets out to park at the very front of the pick up line. In a spot that is not a spot. Genius!  I mean why should you get to school early like many of us other parents do and park appropriately in the pick up lane when you can just come nearly at the last minute, go around a line of 30 vehicles, and park in a spot that is not a spot? Why didn't I think of that? You probably have special circumstances.  I'm sure you think that NOBODY else in the pick up lane,  many of whom have been sitting there waiting for 30-45 minutes have ANYTHING better that they could be doing with their time.
