If I had, it would have definitely been the computer’s fault. I am smarter than the machine. I did not eat any of my daughter’s cupcake. I mean, why would I? It’s not like I have a great love for all things involving cake and frosting. It’s not like I had my own tasty Tiramisu dessert waiting for me. I do not have ANY willpower issues when it comes to desserts. Not me. I did not have to take care of my sick daughter this week. February 2009 or First Folder or First picture of something other than your children Here is mine: I went with the first picture in my February 2009 photo that wasn’t of my children.  I took this picture of a dinner I made and thought about doing a blog post on.  I didn’t think it looked very appetizing after I put the spinach in it!  What do you think? In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So, in the spirit of an easy blog post, I will ask a simple question for you to answer! Why, thanks for asking!  It’s pizza Friday at our house.  We take this “take it easy” stuff on Friday seriously!

As you may have noticed in yesterday’s Wordless Wednesday, my daughter wanted to get married this week. To our imaginary cat. She decided that day was the day and put the blankies wedding dress on herself, but I encouraged her in her endeavors. And of course, every wedding needs a photographer and I was more than willing to document the occasion. At a reduced rate. Family is family after all. So in my post you saw the bride. You saw the first dance. You saw the (air) kiss. And the goodbye wave as they went off on their Disneyland honeymoon. To which I was of course invited because they were “too young” to go alone. But not too young to wed. Clearly my daughter doesn’t really understand what marriage means. Someday she will. For now I am content to watch her practice, and I am sure I have not attended – or officiated – or photographed my last one.
