Yesterday we took advantage of a wonderfully sunny and warm September and took the boat out on the water.
For the first time.
In 6 years.
As soon as we got out there I couldn’t believe we waited so long. What fun!
Or as Hannah put it with the wind blowing on her face:
“THIS IS AWESOME!!!”
Eli thought so too.
Captain Daddy was having fun driving the boat.
But then it was time to tube!
Which meant Captain Mommy had to take control of the boat.
Captain Mommy had to relearn boat driving.
Captain Mommy was nervous.
But Captain Mommy did her best and the kids had a blast – especially Hannah who tubed by herself for quite a while after daddy and Eli disembarked.
We had a great day and plan to do this WAY more often next summer!

oh wow...how fun...my boys have never been on a boat but we grew up on one...well i guess they have been kayaking but...sounds like a great day!
We used to have a boat....about 6 years ago.
I never enjoyed driving the boat!
