Recently I had the opportunity to sit down with one of the Pacific Northwest’s most hard to interview figures.
We met for snacks and drinks at our dining room table.
Here’s what she had to say:
Me: “What is the best part about your day?”
H: “Spending it with you”.
Me: “Aw, you’re just trying to butter me up now. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?”.
H: “Pancakes with syrup and butter!”.
Me: “What do you like best about your mom’s blog?”
H: “What’s a blog?”
Me: “Never mind. What is your favorite place to go in the car?”
H: “To Haggen (grocery store) to get a cookie!!”
Me: “Um, maybe we go there a little too often. How about this, what is your favorite thing to do outside?”
H: “Walk in the snow, eat the snow, make snow angels!”
Me: “That sounds nice (for the maybe 6 days of the year we have snow). I am sure all our readers want to know what your favorite game is?”
H: “Don’t Break the Ice”.
Me: “Yes, that is a good one. How about a favorite book?”
H: “The New Baby”.
Me: “What is your favorite chore?”
H: “Kids don’t do chores!!!!!”.
Me: “Well, you sure help me with things around the house though.”
H: “Then I want to say putting the chocolate chips on the cake and eating some!!”.
Me: “Yes, that is very helpful”.
Me: “Where do you want to go to college when you are older?”
H: “By Bellingham, so I can be close to you!”.
Me: “We mother’s can only dream……since physical fitness is important to our family I thought you could tell our readers how you like to get your exercise?”
H: “Oh, by running and walking around and spinning and dancing. And twirling too!”
Me: “Now, I know you don’t like bugs very much. What bug do you dislike the most?”
H: “Mosquitoes and wasps. And yellow jackets and red ants. And tarantulas and spiders and the rest of the ants!”
Me: “Are there any bugs you like?”
H; “Yeah, lady bugs and potato bugs”.
Me: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
H: “A policeman to help people when they are stuck!”.
Me: “What is your favorite holiday?”
H: “Oh, just Valentines Day and Mother’s Day. And Father’s Day. Christmas, Halloween, Birthday’s and Easter”.
Me: “So basically you haven’t met a holiday you didn’t like.”
H: “What?"
Me: “What do you think is going to be the most exciting thing about being 4?”
H: “Getting new clothes!”
Me: “I like new clothes too. Well, we should probably wrap up this interview. Anything else you would like to say to our readers?”
H: “Have a nice day!”.

I agree with her wholeheartedly on the holiday question, along with the physical fitness routine.

You better watch out! She's already got star power!
Happy 200th post! Very cute! I love these kinds of interviews with kids, definitely something to bring out in a couple of years and smile about.
Aww! How sweet is she?!
LOL Love it! Love that she likes going to Haggen's to get a cookie the most. Hilarious! At least she doesn't have the whole menu at Starbucks memorized, right? {my nephew does, I found out. haha!}

That's just about the cutest thing I've ever read. SO cute about her fondness for chocolate and I love it that she dislikes bugs and spiders. And- clothes! She's a true girls girl! :)
She is just too sweet! :-0

So cute.... and I would like to try some twirling as exercise!! Sounds much more fun than a treadmill!
Too Cute Teri! I will have to remember to interview my boys and blog about it for a record. I have decided to PDF all my posts as part of their baby books - it's such a great way to record family moments!
OMG!! That interview is beyond precious. Hannah is adorable. Now, where is Eli's interview?
