just so you know
I do have a life outside of taking pictures of my children.
And lately, I have been taking a lot of pictures.
But I’ve realized you haven’t heard much from ME lately.
1) My 1-year blogging anniversary is in 25 days! This means I should do something important and fun, right? But, WHAT?? In fact, I will probably spend the next 25 days thinking about what to do until I run out of time and resort to just posting a cute picture of my kids. I’m pretty good for that at least.
2). My birthday is coming up (mid-November) and my husband is planning something!!! He has gone so far as to tell me to “buy a nice dress!”.
Kudos to him for giving me plenty of notice. After all, it’s NOT just a dress. It’s shoes, accessories, just the right coat. And of course supportive undergarments are a MUST. These things take time. So thanks for that.
Of course, my little brain is wondering where we could possibly be going.
I’ve been informed my younger sister knows where we are going.
(PSST, honey, just a little FYI: She can’t keep a secret! I can weasel it out of her if I want to!!!! )
Luckily, I don’t WANT to know so I won’t be throwing guesses left and right at her until her face gets that “you guessed it!” expression that totally gives her away!
She knows she does it too, so it’s okay. ;-)
3) I do in fact take pictures of myself with silly props.

4) I think October, November, and December are the best months ever!
5) On a more somber note, today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance day. For those of us that have lost a child in pregnancy or infancy, we remember every day. The pain does not diminish, but we can move on. Read below if you are interested in lighting a candle tonight, and click the image for more information.

October and November are my fav months. December not so much. I stress to much over what to buy people for xmas. I always want to find the perfect gift for people.
For your 1 yr anniversary I say do something CRAZY! Since you post pics all the time I say you post 12 of your most favorite pics (i for each month you blogged in) and then to the topper take a current picture and post it. Only that current picture should be like a totally crazy picture. like bake a big cake and stick all your feet it in and take a picture. LOL I don't know. Something off the wall and funny.
Just my suggestion. I have a long way to hit my 1 yr mark. With my track record I'll be surprised to make it 6 months. lol
I love birthdays, too! I'm not big on surprises. I always try to weasel it out of my hubby or children. My husband caves most of the time, but not my kids! LOL
Late October to December are my fave months, too. I'm a December baby. =)
Great photo of you and your daughter! I will light a candle in honor of those who have lost their little babies.
I love October too, its finally starting to look like fall in KY!
I love this time of year too, every month is somthing fun to do, and I love it even more now that I have my kids to share everything with. I don't have to make an excuse to watch all the Charlie Brown specials!
Exciting about the plans.
I'll be lighting a candle at 7pm for the baby angels.
Wow...a year. Woohoo!!!

My heart breaks for anyone who has lost a child in any circumstances. I cannot imagine going through anything that horrible. :(
Hrm, I have no ideas for you for the anniversary post. I guess I should start thinking about my own, although I'm still a few months away from it. Maybe I'll see what YOU do, and steal your idea... ;)
P.S. I would love it if you enabled Name/URL cuz I'm breaking my own rule by posting with my dreaded blogger ID ;) Only because it's you!
Maybe you could do a big giveaway for your blog anniversary.
Did not know about Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance day. Blessings to all those who have suffered such a horrific loss.
p.s. Your blog is great. I'm a new follower and keep the pics of kids coming. Too adorable!
Your husband sounds so romantic...one year on my birthday my husband got me a roll of Sprees. How lame is that?
Great pic of you and your daughter! She has your eyes!
I think you are your Mom's favorite too! I can just tell!
LOVE the picture!
Good luck finding "THE Dress"!
the buzz, Brandy
I can not wait to see what he has up his sleeve.
I can't wait to hear all about it!
Looking forward to your 1 year...very cool.
I think it is a terrific thing that they are doing for Oct. 15th. It is growing each year. It validates the lives of our babies.
