Hannah and I went to my mom’s for the weekend. 

Just us girls. 

It was a lot of fun, but for future reference I thought I might make myself a few notes:

  1. Your daughter will not go to sleep until you come to bed.  Might as well let her stay up.
  2. When you do come to bed, she will want to “cuddle” on you until you both fall asleep. 
  3. She will continue to try to “cuddle” on you for the REST OF THE NIGHT.
  4. She is sure warm.
  5. Does she ever stop moving??????
  6. It sure it HOT in here!
  7. You might have to move to the other side of the bed in the middle of the night to get more space. 
  8. You might have to move back to the original side a couple hours later.
  9. I bet that floor is super comfortable! 

There.  That ought to help me remember for next time. 

We had lots of fun at my sister’s baby shower too!

This is exactly why I never sleep with my children, I hate it when people try to touch me sleeping (my husband included, poor guy).

Your daughter reminds me of my kitty. She lays ontop of my legs and is burning hot. Only I'm the one constently moving. lol

I die whenever the babies go to sleep on me. It's so cute, but they're so hot, and I'm so cranky b/c I'm hot and tired...and then I see their little eyes and grumble to myself.

I love sleeping with my kids. Casey and I came to a compromise. They wont crawl in my bed in the middle of the night anymore but they get one whole night a week to sleep with me. We all love it. We can't wait for wed. nights.

And I understand about the kid snuggling/moving in bed!! Evan slept some of the night with us last night and actually FELL OUT of our king size bed this morning. Seriously...moved so much that he fell out of a KING SIZE BED!

Dear you, Hi there! We haven't met so I thought I would introduce myself.  I am a mom of two, a fifth and a third grader, at the school our kids attend.  You might recognize my car, as you drive by it nearly every day when you pass me (and plenty other parents) 10 minutes before school gets out to park at the very front of the pick up line. In a spot that is not a spot. Genius!  I mean why should you get to school early like many of us other parents do and park appropriately in the pick up lane when you can just come nearly at the last minute, go around a line of 30 vehicles, and park in a spot that is not a spot? Why didn't I think of that? You probably have special circumstances.  I'm sure you think that NOBODY else in the pick up lane,  many of whom have been sitting there waiting for 30-45 minutes have ANYTHING better that they could be doing with their time.
