the banana dance

My daughter just started attending a “Creative Movement” dance class for 3 & 4 year olds.

Earlier this week we had an opportunity to go into the class and see what they have been practicing. 

Here are a few pictures from “The Banana Dance”.

Afterwards, they all lined up to show off some more moves. 

Kind of looks like a police line-up, ballerina style.

The whole group.  Not a one looking in the same direction!  But the half-dozen or so cameras taking pictures probably didn’t help with that either.

It will be so exciting so see what they come up with next!  And in December Hannah will be making her stage debut in their Christmas show!

I want a little girl to put in a leotard and tutu thing and take her to balarina class. These are the cutest pictures ever!!

I wonder if I can convice my 9yr old son to go to a class? I mean I did put him in gymnastics when he was little.

I really love the second to last picture. I hope we can put the Bean in some dance classes, too. I hope your daughter enjoys her class and I hope there will be more pictures.

Bella had ballet lessons at our last post and the pictures and videos I took of her are much the same. Little girls were meant for this!! Too precious and adorable!

Awww, that is melt-my-heart cute!!! I love her ballet shoes...my daughter would also love them! She did ballet for like 6 weeks and then quit because she didn't like anyone watching her. I was like, "Uh, well, isn't that kind of the point of performing??". Now she plays soccer but only if I don't stare at her.

Dear you, Hi there! We haven't met so I thought I would introduce myself.  I am a mom of two, a fifth and a third grader, at the school our kids attend.  You might recognize my car, as you drive by it nearly every day when you pass me (and plenty other parents) 10 minutes before school gets out to park at the very front of the pick up line. In a spot that is not a spot. Genius!  I mean why should you get to school early like many of us other parents do and park appropriately in the pick up lane when you can just come nearly at the last minute, go around a line of 30 vehicles, and park in a spot that is not a spot? Why didn't I think of that? You probably have special circumstances.  I'm sure you think that NOBODY else in the pick up lane,  many of whom have been sitting there waiting for 30-45 minutes have ANYTHING better that they could be doing with their time.
