Hannah and I went to my mom’s for the weekend.
Just us girls.
It was a lot of fun, but for future reference I thought I might make myself a few notes:
- Your daughter will not go to sleep until you come to bed. Might as well let her stay up.
- When you do come to bed, she will want to “cuddle” on you until you both fall asleep.
- She will continue to try to “cuddle” on you for the REST OF THE NIGHT.
- She is sure warm.
- Does she ever stop moving??????
- It sure it HOT in here!
- You might have to move to the other side of the bed in the middle of the night to get more space.
- You might have to move back to the original side a couple hours later.
- I bet that floor is super comfortable!
There. That ought to help me remember for next time.
We had lots of fun at my sister’s baby shower too!
Whoever bought that ADORABLE Christmas outfit has VERY good taste.

You and your sister look a lot alike! And I can relate to the sleeping in the same bed thing too...we play musical beds all night at our house :)
This is exactly why I never sleep with my children, I hate it when people try to touch me sleeping (my husband included, poor guy).

I die whenever the babies go to sleep on me. It's so cute, but they're so hot, and I'm so cranky b/c I'm hot and tired...and then I see their little eyes and grumble to myself.
I love sleeping with my kids. Casey and I came to a compromise. They wont crawl in my bed in the middle of the night anymore but they get one whole night a week to sleep with me. We all love it. We can't wait for wed. nights.
So you got a lot of sleep while you were away, huh? lol

what a fun visit. i love baby showers, getting to eww and aww over all the teeny tiny baby things.
My Annie is the same way when it comes to sleepovers with mommy...a bit too cuddly (read clingy bedhog :)

And I understand about the kid snuggling/moving in bed!! Evan slept some of the night with us last night and actually FELL OUT of our king size bed this morning. Seriously...moved so much that he fell out of a KING SIZE BED!
Aww, but just think, one day you'll want her to cuddle with you and she won't want to. Enjoy it now. That's what I try to tell myself.
