Tamara at Over the Homespun Hedge tagged me to participate in this holiday meme.
If I was feeling better I would insert some sort of witty comment here, but I’m not so here you go…..
1.) Have you started your Christmas shopping?
Yes
2.) Tell me about one of your special traditions.
Hmmm….. Guess we need to work on those.
3.) When do you put up your Tree?
Usually Thanksgiving weekend.
4.) Are you a Black Friday shopper?
AVOID! AVOID!!
5.) Do you Travel at Christmas or Stay home?
Both.
6.) What is your funniest Christmas memory?
I am not sure, but the Christmas I was pregnant with Elliot my husband Mickey thought this would be one awesome gift:
7.) What is your favorite Christmas Movie of All time?
I like to stick with the classics. Like this one. :)
8.)Do you do your own Christmas Baking, what’s your favorite treat?
Yes. Not sure I can pick a favorite!
9.) Fake or Real Tree?
Currently fake. Someday we will get a live one again.
10.) What day (as a Mom) does the actual panic set in to get it all done?
It gradually sneaks up on me. I’m already feeling a little bit panicked now that I think about it!
11.) Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve?
Usually done!
12.) What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas?
Just getting together with family and friends. I also love watching my daughter “frost” cookies! This is from Valentine’s Day, but you get the idea:
13.) What Christmas craft do you like the best?
I don’t do much crafting these days, but I used to make cards!
14.) Christmas music. Yes or No, and if yes What is your favorite song?
Yes! Anything by Alvin and the Chipmunks…..
is NOT what I want to hear.
15.) When do you plan to finish all your shopping?
I plan on being done a couple weeks before Christmas, but I usually end up finishing the week of.

I can see that Christmas Vacation is on nearly everyone's list! I'm with you on the artificial tree too. :)
Are you feeling bad? Oh dear, hope you won't have a cold for Christmas! I see why watching your daughter frost cookies is fun! I like the Chevy Chase movie too and Scrooge with Bill Murray! Hope you feel better!
I like Die Hard as my Christmas movie! I love the picture with the red icing stuff. Looks like a scene from Friday The 13th haha!
I love your answer to the Black Friday shopping question. I haven't been out on Black Friday in years...the only reason I ever did was because my aunt dragged me out at like 4 am to Walmart of all places. Then she wanted me to go with her every year after that. She kept telling me it was a tradition-we'd only done it once! haha
I like your answers. I'm going to do this on Saturday, is fun.
Awww.. I love Christmas Vacation too. And the tshirt is SO FUNNY and how FUN! LOL The one of your daughter frosting her cookies is too adorable! I love her red teeth! HA! :o)
We don't even have a tree yet...
It feels weird. Like Christmas isn't anywhere near.
I totally love Christmas vacation!! It's a classic holiday movie around here, as well!
Your tree is beautiful! It makes everything look so warm and cozy!
Feel better! I've never seen Christmas Vacation but everyone is posting about it - maybe I should give it a watch.

Oh Alvin and the Chipmunks drives me nuts, and of course my kids love them.
I love Christmas Vacation too. It's a must see for laughs around here. And, I agree, having the kids decorate cookies is probably one of my favorite things too.
Aw, so fun. Love the pics. I agree - not Alvin and The Chipmunks, please.
