This week we were asked you to step out of auto mode and learn how to use our ISO. The weeks them was children’s play things. Find the tutorial here.
I took many pictures in manual without the flash, using only ISO, including the two I put in my last post. Because we were outside and the day was decent the ISO was set to 400.
Here is another one:
Hope you can tell what “toy” he was playing with. :)
Here are a few other manually taken pictures that I liked. All the indoor ones were taken with ISO 1600 although I tried very hard to get some good ones using only 800.
Be sure it visit Manic Mother or Lolli if you want to play along.
Happy Tuesday!!

Great pictures. I love the bathtub smiles. I like playing around with my camera settings too. It's amazing what little tweaks will do.
By the way I noticed that you are still linked to my old blog in your blog roll but under my new name. The link is www.2wired2tired.com and the name is 2 Wired 2 Tired - I used to be 2 Toddlers and Me. Just thought you might be interested since we just reconnected.
You know, a lot of your pictures are magazine quality. Maybe you should send them in if you don't already.
Good job! I can never get the hang of that iso!
You're a great photographer!
Those are beautiful pictures! I have no clue what ISO is and that's probably the reason why most of my pics suck!
omigosh, i love the look on your little chalk-drawer's face!

Your kids are just adorable :)
Those are great! I'm going to have to check that site out. I need to get better at using my rebel and all its features. I mess iwth the ISO a lot and need to learn to change the ISO BEFORE I snap. Sometimes its too high or low. So you used no flash with these? Just ISO?
You did so great! What great little faces you have to photograph though. How could they not take a great picture! :)
you did an awesome job!! so sweet, cute, and loving!!
I love AMC...they had Sabrina with Audrey on the other day.
Awesome pictures - I LOVE the close-up of the adorable puppy! The close-up of the kiddos are precious! :o)
Great shots! I really need to work on learning how to use my camera more. I have a Nikon D40 and it takes awesome pics, but I know they could be better!
Awesome photos, I'm with the majority I think, my favorite is also the one of your daughter in the shower, I love the coloring. The one of your son in the tub is also so cute - I love the color of his hair.
