Focus
When I read Yaya’s post about picking a word to live by instead of writing down resolutions I thought about what my word might be.
I am often thinking, not just at New Year’s, about what I want and need to do in my life to continually improve.
There is so much I want to do. So much I want to learn.
But how? When? With what time?
So my word this year is “focus”.
Focus on taking care of ME.
Focus on taking care of my family.
Focus on being a better mom (granted, I’m pretty darn good but there’s always room to improve!
)
Focus on getting things done around the house and not always waiting for the mood to strike.
Focus on taking better pictures.
Focus on learning more about photo editing.
Focus.
If I were to sit down and make a list of 5-10 MOST important things in my life, blogging and reading blogs would not be on that list.
Would it be on yours?
Yet, I spend a lot of my spare time trying to keep my Google reader at zero.
And that is me,
Unfocused.
I love blogging and I have no intention of stopping……
but, I apologize in advance if I do not come around as often to say hi. I won’t be offended if you do the same.
I’ve got some focusing to do.

I agree with the whole keeping google reader at 0. I feel like I'm constantly doing it and wonder if I'll even care once Bean comes...
p.s. I'm glad those aren't my nails either!
Your welcome :)

I think If you could live by that word everything else would fall in place by itself..
Best of Luck..
What a great idea to pick a word and what a great word to pick...

Love your word!
Stay warm!
Great word!
Keeping Google Reader at 0 is addictive isn't it?
Great post:)
I feel like I could have wrote this list and said the last thing you said about importance of blogging...or really it's time consumption on taking us away from the things we really need to 'focus' on.
Happy New Year friend....and here's to a better 'focus'ed 2010.
xoxo
I hear you. I feel so scattered much of the time.
Hmmm, what would my word be? Something to think about!
I shall send you a pie.
