Remember this picture from yesterday?
this was what he was looking at:
Nice horsey.
We are fortunate to live on a trail system that leads us to all kinds of exciting and fun places.
Such as the Big Rock Garden Sculpture park, which we visited on a recent sunny day.
Here are a few pictures of some of the exhibits:
Hannah thinks this one looks like a witch:
This kids clearly thought this one had some good “drumming” qualities:
And this one confused us in it’s simplicity. It’s called “sap”.
There are many more exhibits in the park, but Hannah was the “leader” and for some reason we kept going by the same ones over and over and over again.
By the way there are NO alligators in the pond.
Just in case you were, you know, worried.

She didn't believe you either about the alligators? We had the same conversation when I took the kids there! :)
I love the horse and the SAP. LOL I wish we had cool places like that to visit. I can't wait for it to get warmer so we can go fishing. The non-aligator ponds is making me want to fish. lol
What an amazing place to go and visit. What cool place to go and visit. THanks for sharing.

So cool, I wish we had a great walking trail near us. I love the worried photo!
Hehe love the shot of your son looking up at the horsie -- classic! Very cool place...a little jealous that you are able to get out and about - we still have 2 feet of snow on the ground an haven't been outside in forever. Great photos as always :)
I am confused by the "sap" statue too?! That looks like an awesome place.. I love all the pictures!
So I am sitting here reading your blog...at the top where the characters are...and my son comes bounding into the office and says "is that YOUR blog?" (in his aren't you cool voice). I said "no" and he literally dropped his head and his tone and said "oh" :( and left!
I wish I had a video. Too funny! You are WAAAAY cooler than I am! LOL

AWESOME... just to go and walk with great trails! TOTALLY jealous about the weather...finally above freezing today...and we went out and played...jackson drove his tractor and Dane "mowed" the crazy. Only lasted about 40 minutes before the chill took us over...SPRING COME HERE!! Hope all is well!
Great pics! What a cool place to live by! :) Thanks for commenting on my controversial topic... love to hear opinions!

I am SO jealous of all of the greenery....I am hating all of this snow (with more to come on Monday! UGH)
Such cute pictures! I love it!
I wish we had more places like that here. The only place we have is ridiculously expensive to get in.
What a lovely place.
Such a fun adventure!!
I'm so jealous! I want to come and visit. I love cities and towns that have a natural path that leads through trees and makes taking a walk more like a nature hike. Very cool!
That place looks wonderful! I am glad your kids had fun!
I went through your blog the other day (even though I had no time and should have been studying-but I had to get a peek at those cute little kiddos :)
Anywho...I was wondering what had captured his attention.
What a neat place to visit.
Love that look on her face!!!!
And love the pix you posted of you handsome hubby and darling daughter :)
Wow I want a place like that around my house. That is a really cool place. I love the looks of concentration on the kids face.
That looks like a totally cool place to take the kids. Might be worth a trip.
What a fun place. I love it!
Looks like it was a fun afternoon adventure!! =)
What a fun outing! When I lived in NY, there were all these neat art installations that hardly anyone would go to, but were awesome nonetheless. I wish there was more of that sort of thing where I live now.
