Please don't follow me friday

Don't get me wrong. I've played along in the past and I am not knocking all the follow me friday activities that go on weekly in the blogoverse. I think they are great for people wanting to bring more readers/giveaway entrants/commenters to their blogs.

Someday I might even participate again.

BUT

I can barely keep up with all the blogs I currently follow as it is.  I don't do giveaways or product reviews.  I rarely enter giveaways. I have no interest in turning a profit.  I blog about my family, when I feel like it,  and that's about it. It's what I have time for.

So please, unless you like a lot of this:

I participated once and was totally overwhelmed....

Besides, I want people to follow me b/c they like me/my blog, not because they have to or because of a meme....

Actually I have to say that I totally understand it. When you have that many stopping in on one day it does get overwhelming. I try really hard to keep a balance as well. I'd rather talk about the family.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I feel so stupid! I wasn't following your blog before. Well, I am now. And I just want you to know I hate dumb giveaways too. I do NOT want to enter for a container of water or yogurt. No thank you. I will go to the market and buy my own yogurt : )

Ha! I know what ya mean! I did it a couple of weeks and wow. I really want people to follow me because they like me too. Timewise I still read all of my regular blogs (like yours!!) but really never get to comment any more. My boss has made it almost impossible to do at work so I have to wait til I'm off like now lol. Plus even on my worst days your stories and pics always make me smile!

Love this! The bloggers I actually follow are either friends of mine in "real" life or blogger friends I've come to love. I do, however, love to cruise to interesting new places occasionally. BTW - I just LOOOOVE your header!

I’m more than just a stay at home mom.  I read. (see, the stack has grown since last time I showed this picture) I watch television. I exercise. I floss every day.  I go out with girlfriends. Dear you, Hi there! We haven't met so I thought I would introduce myself.  I am a mom of two, a fifth and a third grader, at the school our kids attend.  You might recognize my car, as you drive by it nearly every day when you pass me (and plenty other parents) 10 minutes before school gets out to park at the very front of the pick up line. In a spot that is not a spot. Genius!  I mean why should you get to school early like many of us other parents do and park appropriately in the pick up lane when you can just come nearly at the last minute, go around a line of 30 vehicles, and park in a spot that is not a spot? Why didn't I think of that?
