going, going, gone!

Hannah officially lost her first tooth last night!

Here she is a few days before the big event, if you look close you can see one of the bottom front teeth is definitely a little crooked.

I suspected she might start losing her teeth a tad on the early side.  After all, her first tooth made its appearance when she was only 3 months old:

Can’t see it but trust me, it was there!

Such a cute baby!  But anyways, I digress….

We could tell last night that the tooth was ready to come out, it was very loose.  I managed to talk her into letting me give it one more yank and out it came!  She said it only hurt for a second “just like a shot, mom.”.

And here it is, the money shot:

Hannah's first lost tooth!

Literally as that tooth cost us $2.

I mean, it cost the TOOTH FAIRY $2.

She’ll totally pay us back.

Here she is today, showing off the gap:

That other bottom tooth is looking awfully lonely down there – but since it’s loose I imagine it will be tucked away under her pillow very soon.

Yay for Hannah!

So is that the going rate for teeth now? I suspect my son should start pretty soon. Inflation stinks!

Can I just tell you that I am scared of wiggly teeth? I mean, not scared, but they freak me out. I'd rather change a thousand poopy diapers than pull one tooth out of a kid's mouth.

Congrats to Hannah!!!! It's such a huge milestone!! Can you believe Bella has already lost 8 teeth??? And she'll turn 6 next week!! Cole hasn't lost any, much to his disappointment.

Oh, man, this picture took me back! Sweet, sweet moments.

She looks so exactly like her baby pictures. She is a total little doll.

Thanks for the smile.

Awww... so cute! Hopefully you will have better luck with her teeth than I had with my daughter's. Hers were in her mouth so strong that we had to literally have her put under to pull her baby teeth out because her permanent ones were growing in behind the baby teeth. It was crazy! :o)

yeah!

such a fun thing.

She looks proud.

I used to put U.S. money and foreign coins under their pillows so that they could not try to compare what they got with their friends :)

she was a darling baby and is such a pretty little girl :)

The saddest thing about losing teeth? It seems to happen in spurts - my poor kids are always bringing me teeth and asking the tooth fairy for money. She's starting to feel very poor herself. Love that shot of her as a baby! So Precious!

I was wondering what a tooth went for these days.

It's gone up to two bucks a tooth these days? I'm gonna need a calculator and some pliers.

Congrats to your sweet daughter! Aria's first tooth cost us $5. When his tooth was wiggly, he was praying for the tooth fairy to bring him $5 to buy a wallet and of course tooth fairy heard him:)
Lovely pics!

Love those moments! Our son "ate" his first lost tooth. We promised him the Tooth Fairy would "take his word for it". ;)
