Halloween was a big hit around here.
We thought Eli would want to sit in the stroller or wagon for trick or treating, but he would have NONE of that.
He did some serious walking and he loved every minute of it.
And I think he likes candy as much as I do!
Hannah also had a great time. Who knew Spider Girl liked butterfly boots and a puffy pink jacket?
Actually, she didn’t like it that much because the back of the boots kept getting stuck on the costume. Spider Girl vows to choose function over style next year!
After trick or treating Hannah got to pick 2 pieces of candy from her bucket. This bucket is brimming with all kinds of chocolate goodness. And what does she pick?
One of those small wrapped hard peppermint candies and a box of nerds.
Definitely not what I would have picked.
After the kids went to bed my husband and I found “The Blair Witch Project” on On Demand and started it up (he has never seen it).
We had to turn it off before we were even halfway.
Not because we were scared.
We just couldn’t stay awake.
At least we tried to do something spooky.

I used to love Nerds, even dreamed about them once. Looks like you all had a great time!!
Cute kiddos and cute costumes! I wouldn't have picked Nerds and peppermint, either. LOL! Give me chocolate!
he's never seen the Blair Witch?! My husband blew out his knee falling in the woods, after recreating a scene for our friends who hadn't seen it. Dork.
I couldn't watch the Blair Witch because all the motion made me sick.
The kids are so cute but I can't believe Eli and all the walking. I swear it seems like he just started on his feet.
LOL, I am laughing at what Molly said above about her husband. Anyhoo, my 6yo had the same Brave & the Bold Batman costume this year. TOO cute!!!!
Thanks so much for sharing in my SITS day last week!!!!!
I think kids like to walk on Halloween. Maybe they think if I used a stroller missed the emotion and the fun part of the trick or treat.
Have a nice week.
I would've chosen the nerds if I was her!
Except I never had to "pick" candy.
I just got to eat mine.
My parents were lazy.
Too cute but we're going with functional over fashionable next year too. Boxy costumes don't work well!
So cute!!!
I'm right up there with you, chocolate would have been my choice. Great pictures! Looks as though y'all had fun!
I love the picture of Hannah with her boots. If I only got to choose two pieces, I'd have to pick two Tootsie Rolls. Yum!
That first pix is amazing.
What a fun night!
It just gets so much fun as they figure out that it is about the candy! :)
My kids all go for those goofy candies as well. LOL
I much prefer chcocolate, thank you very much :)
LOVE their costumes, esp the pink boots and jacket ;)

I'm here from SITS too!
That little Batman of yours is just too much. When you see him walking around with that great big smile, I have to think, now there, THAT is what Halloween and pure joy is all about.
Wonderful that you were able to capture these moments on film!
I would have went for the reese's or a snickers! Thats my kinda candy!!
Glad your kiddos had a great time!!
I have never seen Blair Witch either.
oh how cute are they! LOVE the one of him showing you his candy! Evan was ALL about the suckers this year...more chocolate for me! :)
lol they are so cute!! You can tell that those female hormones have not kicked in because if they have she would've went for the chocolate!!!
Awww, they are so darn cute!!! I once ate so many nerds that they gave me blisters all over my tongue. How gross is that?
My little twins are totally into lollipops this year too!
Glad you all had fun!

Halloween is fun but I'm really ready for Thanksgiving now. Loving Fall!
chocolate is definitely the candy choice here! What cute kids. That redheaded batman is precious!
Just dropped by from SITS to say hi; hope you'll do the same.
What a cute kids you have!! I love spider girls fashion choices! I know what you mean about the Blair Witch Project...that movie really scared me...we saw it when it first came out and I will never see it again!! Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
Good for you for trying the movie : ) You get an A plus for effort. I was tired on Halloween too. I think it was the rain. And the gloom. And possibly I had SO much sugar it had the opposite effect on me. Sleepiness!
Just blog hopping from the SITS roll call.
Your children are absolutely precious. So glad they enjoyed Halloween.
Great pictures! Their costumes are adorable. Glad everyone had fun!
How funny, I wouldn't have picked the nerds either. Your kiddos are so adorable!!!!

Ohh Nerds! I haven't had them in forever!! I'm glad you all had a good Halloween :)
Such an adorable Spider Girl and Batman you have there!! =D
We saw the Blair Witch Project when it first came out. Don't think I've seen it since. I'm not into scary movies much. Too funny that you guys had to turn it off though. heehee
Gee, they're growing up so fast!
Looks like Halloween was a success at your house. Love the boots, by the way. Jillian had a tail on her costume, it was driving her nuts because I kept stepping on it.
