Baxter

Our dog is in for his lumpectomy this morning.  I just talked to my husband and the dog is going to be at the vet all day.  Baxter will have a 5-6 inch gash on his leg when he gets home and we will have to keep him from licking the wound (hello, lamp shade head) and being too active (hello, painkillers).

And while he’s under might as well clean the teeth too.  Neither of us thought to ask the vet how much this is going to cost, so guess we will have another surprise waiting for us when we pick him up!

But the important thing is getting the lump out and recuperating our dog.  Just thought I would post an update.

Happy Wednesday!

I'm glad he's getting it taken care of. Yeah, the vet can get expensive. But -- dogs are like kiddos...we've got to take care of them. :) Hope he has a speedy recovery for everyone's sake. :)

Poor baby! I hope he gets well soon.

It was about $100 each for our dogs to have their teeth cleaned.

Poor baby. It cost $210 to get our dog's teeth cleaned. They did have to pull a few teeth though. I hope he heals fast. Baster is probably like Chico to us - our second baby.

I wanted to thank you for stopping by and commenting on my posts. I haven't done well with returning the comment love these last couple of weeks. I am back though and will start! I did want to tell you that I appreciate you!!

hope he will not be in too much pain.

I am worried about your pain...in your pocketbook.

Dying to know how much a teeth cleaning costs!

Sometimes you just don't ask because it doesn't really matter! You would do it regardless, since he is a member of the family!

Good luck, how it all went smoothly!
