Aloha Friday #8

alohafriday

Welcome to Aloha Friday!  If you want to play along, visit An Island Life.

Here is my question:

What is something in your life that you wish you did more often?

I wish I called friends and family more often to connect with them “in person” rather than relying on email or Facebook (or my blog!).

Please leave your answer in my comments – I look forward to reading your responses!!

There are A L O T of things I wish I did more often. I think the one thing I wish I did more often and was better at is showing my husband more affection and how much I appreciate him.

That is a good question! I wish I spent more quality time with my husband. Seems like we only get an hour of alone time every day...after the kids are in bed.

I would say doing more things for other people. I feel like there's never enough time to do stuff for myself and family, much less other deserving people!

Great question and I could put down so many answers. I wish that I was better at communicating with my family that lives far away. I really should go see my grandparents more!

I'm super stressed out so I dont get to stop and enjoy my kids as much as I'd like. I'm working on it though!

I wish we (as a family) did more stuff out of our house together.

I also wish I scrapbooked and sewed more!

Play tennis. It's great for stress relief. I'm not that great but I don't care. I have a great time.

I wish I saw my family and did stuff with them more often. We're always doing stuff with my b/f's family, which is like mine.. but it's just not the same.

Okay Miss M,

I really agree with your answer!
But, if I have to be original, I would say exercise. I need to commit to it, but i am inconsistant!

I often forget your baby is only 1. He has so much hair! It throws me. you have so many wonderful pictures posted this week! Lovin' all of them. You take great photos, well, it helps that your models are so adorable!!!!

Have a great weekend!

I wish I traveled more. Unfortunately living with infertility I live in "maybe" land and never make travel plans to visit friends and family "in case" i'm pregnant when the vacation would come to be. (I will automatically be a high-risk pregnancy and unable to fly and such).

Hubby and I went out with a group of friends..WITHOUT our son last weekend. It was only for about 2-3 hours...but we had a good time. Its easy to get caught up in being mommy and daddy and we forget that we're only 23. Anyway, we've only gone out like 3 times since our son was born over 1 1/2 years ago!

There are SO many things I could list here. I'd say exercising, sleeping, eating healthier, keeping in touch with family... all would be at the top of my list!

Ya know what? I think I'm going to have to "ditto" you. I was actually talking to my cousin recently and we came to the conclusion that we don't *talk* enough. It's always through email or our blogs. There are just some people that it's really nice to *talk* to.

(But at the same time, it's also nice to have email, blogs, FB so you don't *have* to talk if you're not in the mood.)
