Aloha friday #9

alohafriday

Welcome to Aloha Friday! If you want to play along visit An Island Life.

My previous poll asked what your least favorite chore was (cleaning bathrooms won hands down). So, this week I want to know:

What is your favorite around the house “chore”?

I think my favorite is vacuuming. It doesn’t take very long and it always makes a noticeable difference!

Hope you have a great weekend!

If I have to pick something, I would probably agree with you. There is also something calming about using the vacuum. Of course with mostly hardwood floors here I do not have a lot to vacuum.

Definitely vacuuming. Like you mentioned, it makes an immediate difference and I actually find it relaxing. (Maybe that's just because it drowns out all the rest of the noise around here)

I really don't have a favorite - but if I chose the least hated, I would say dusting.

favorite!?

i don't think i have a favorite. if i had a list and i got to pick just one that i'd like to tackle (while someone else takes care of all the rest), i'd probably pick vacuuming.

I like to organize things around the house and I like to think of new ways to do it better.

Sweeping - just like vacuuming but the broom is always right there and even if it isn't it is really lite to carry to where I need it. :)

I would also have to say vacuuming. It's such a rewarding household chore.

I don't mind washing clothes...just hate putting them away! LOL

I would probably also say vacuuming. I also don't mind dishes as much now that I have a dish washer. I also don't mind doing the laundry, but I hate folding it and putting it away.

Brittany said...

I would say folding clothes because I have an excuse to sit or stand in front of the tv for a few minutes!

Erin @ Closing Time said...

I would have to say cleaning the kitchen.

OMG...I saw that you posted Buffy as a show you likes that is no longer on the air. I JUST had to visit your site.

Anyway...I HATE mopping...HATE IT! In fact I pretty much hate any kind of household chore!

Yes, I'd have to agree. Vacuuming is calming and once I can't see the cat hair and food drops I'm feeling much more zen! :-)

Well, my least hated could be vacuuming since I don't have to do it daily.

I don't particularly enjoy cleaning - if you ever stopped by you could tell that - but, I don't mind doing dishes.

Or, even cleaning out the fridge, it's like a 'new beginning' once it's done!

Have a good weekend!

Just saw your comment about the pb in the stocking--I would have LOVED being in your house at Christmas.

Someone gave me PB for my birthday for work last year! :)

Cathy said...

I totally agree with the vacuuming. It makes a HUGE difference. That and simply "picking up" makes me feel like I have a whole new house!

Jennifer said...

I think you chose the best of all choices, so I will say vacuuming as well.

Roxy said...

VACUMMING ALSO is a GREAT cardio workout...just turn up the volume on a radio and GO!!!!`

Jenny said...

Hmm, that is a tough one. I do like the way the carpet looks when it's freshly vacuumed, but I don't actually like vacuuming. LOL!

I love vacuuming! I need a better vacuum though!

Hi! I'm just visiting from the Rambler's blog. Yours is cute. Thanks for letting me stop by!

And I enjoy vacuuming, too. It's so much fun with our awesome Dyson.

I have no favorites. I *hate* cleaning. Seriously. If I could afford a house cleaner / keeper, I SO WOULD! I only clean because people would be disgusted to come to my house if I didn't.
