Wrote a song, like to hear it?

I’ve got the blues.

Hope you can hear the music in your ears.

And, please, forgive me in advance.

-------------------

Duh duh duh duh duh duh.

Out yesterday afternoon, enjoying the sunshine.

Duh duh duh duh duh duh.

My daughter goes “hey, what are those bees doing up there?”

Duh duh duh duh duh duh.

Look up, and what do I see?

A couple wasps or hornets hanging out and staring at me!

Cause I’ve got pests.

Annoying bugs that want to sting me.

If given a chance.

Cause I’ve got pests.

And they’ve taken up residence.

Above my deck.

Duh duh duh duh duh duh.

Now don’t you worry.

Now don’t you frown.

Duh duh duh duh duh duh.

Cause I’ve told my husband and he’s getting them down.

Duh duh duh duh duh duh.

Call the pro’s?

Nah, not him.

He assures me a hose will get to them.

And cause me much fear!

Cause I’ve got pests.

And they’ve taken up residence.

Above my deck.

Cause I’ve got pests.

And my husband wants to eliminate them.

All by himself.

Seriously!  There are 3 nests.  And I took this with my zoom lens – they are 2 stories up and hard to access.

But go, they must, so I can resume my seat on the deck.

My husband is going to hose them down.  With a pressure washer.

I will keep you posted on how THAT goes.

-----------------------

In other news, my son is starting day 3 of a fever.  No other symptoms, just cranky and tired.

Probably about time to call the doctor to make sure he doesn’t have an ear infection or something.

He has been keeping us up at night and I am extremely exhausted.

And I also feel today a little like I might be coming down with something myself.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

On the bright side, we continue to enjoy some beautiful weather this week.  Not quite Hawaii, but it will do.

How is your week going?

Well, considering I don't have wasps nests and fevers to deal with! You poor thing!

I'm a bit concerned about your husband getting those nests down. If they're not active, fine, but if they're active....he better encase himself in protection.

Oh man! Good luck with those bees!

This week is going much better than last week thank goodness. The sun is shining, and everything is right with the world. :P

Umm, one wrong direction with the hose and you're going to have some angry wasps. Least toxic option is physical removal. I put a link on your facebook page for some tips on getting rid of them.

Hope Eli feels better soon!

Oh no! That sucks! Good luck to him. I hope he's planning on being covered from head-to-toe in 'bee garb'. Eek!

I hope you and the little guy feel better soon!

Definitely enjoy this weather. Who knows how long it plans on sticking around!

You know...we had 3 days of fever, and it turned out to be roseola. I took the baby to the dr only to find out he was fine. She told me to watch for roseola (little red spots all over the body) or a viral infection. He started the fever on Thursday, and he had the spots on Sunday. They were gone by Tuesday. So, keep an eye out!

I hope things go well with the wasp's nest. Kind of scary!

I sure hope the fever is over. Enjoy the nice weather:)

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the bday wishes! I'm glad you led me to your site. Love the graphics! I'll be back!

As for your pests, not sure if you guys know this already, but if you wait until dusk the wasps won't fly around and you can spray them down without worrying about a swarm. Keep the hornet spray on hand just in case, but they can't fly in the dark.
