In honor of my upcoming vacation I thought I would start participating in Aloha Friday!

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So, in the spirit of an easy blog post, I will ask a simple question for you to answer! If you want to answer, please leave your response in my comments.

Here is my question:

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I am a morning person. I get up early. I like to have a couple hours to myself before my children get up. It’s not always easy or fun, but I do it anyways. Therefore I am in bed by 9:00 most nights to read as long as I can keep my eyes open. And sometimes I’m sitting there holding my book and my eyes are shut! Oops!!

I'm a morning person but I have been so inconsistent with when I get up this year that I'm really a mess.

I am for sure a NIGHT OWL! I love being up late when the world around me is silent. It just makes me feel peaceful,not to mention I just can't sleep early!

Definitely more of a night owl although since I got pregnant in the fall I haven't been able to stay up as late - just too tired!

I think you already know the answer to this one :-) Definitely a morning person! Maybe I will play along on this too because my lack of photos is resulting in a bit of a lackluster blog these days :-0 Too many sick days, I suppose...

I'm a morning and night person. Talk about bipolar. I feel amazing in the morning. I always wake up excited to start the day. But then at night is the only break I get from the kids and the only time I get to watch my trash tv so I love that too. Let's just say I dont sleep a lot. Laurie

Hmmm...can there be an Afternoon Something?? I DEFINITELY am NOT a morning person--I am very grumpy in the morning....and these days go to sleep pretty early due to the fatigue...so I think I really am best mid day...so I am a Mid Day Diva (how's that??)

Night Owl all the way! I stay up way too late (as in 1 - 2 am) but I am up by 6:45 so that I can get my kiddos up. Yeah, I totally took a nap today!

Since it's after midnight...I'm thinking night owl...just can't sleep. Most nights I'm in bed around 10 or so...and when it's time to get up...I wish for 5 more minutes.
Are you going to HAwaii? Such fun!
We leave in the am... and I just finished packing at 10pm.

I am a morning person, especially when the kids are still sleeping. Gives me time to relax before the busy day. and like Teri I am ready for bed at 9:00.

I am a night owl and it really galls me that the whole world is set up to accomendate morning people!

I am a night owl & completely late in this comment. Lately I have needed xtra sleep both day & night and now my schedule is out of whack!

Before kids I was a big night owl. I think being up with them and teaching have switched it all up for me.

I’m more than just a stay at home mom.  I read. (see, the stack has grown since last time I showed this picture) I watch television. I exercise. I floss every day.  I go out with girlfriends. Except Death and Taxes and School Pick Up Problems

Dear you, Hi there! We haven't met so I thought I would introduce myself.  I am a mom of two, a fifth and a third grader, at the school our kids attend.  You might recognize my car, as you drive by it nearly every day when you pass me (and plenty other parents) 10 minutes before school gets out to park at the very front of the pick up line. In a spot that is not a spot. Genius!  I mean why should you get to school early like many of us other parents do and park appropriately in the pick up lane when you can just come nearly at the last minute, go around a line of 30 vehicles, and park in a spot that is not a spot? Why didn't I think of that? You probably have special circumstances.  I'm sure you think that NOBODY else in the pick up lane,  many of whom have been sitting there waiting for 30-45 minutes have ANYTHING better that they could be doing with their time.
